After the Giro d'Italia, the Pantani Memorial and the Golden Week in Valsugana, Redoro Frantoi Veneti strengthens its commitment to international cycling. The brand of the Verona-based company was also a protagonist at the Tour of Slovakia, accompanying the finishes of a competition capable of bringing together teams, young talents and champions from numerous countries.
From the Giro d'Italia to events dedicated to young cyclists, through to international competitions: the journey of Redoro Frantoi Veneti in the world of cycling continues. The company from Grezzana, a producer of Italian extra virgin olive oil for over a century, also supported the 2026 edition of the Tour of Slovakia – Okolo Slovenska, held from September 16 to 20.
The Redoro brand achieved significant visibility along the finish line straightaways and in television and photographic images of the stages, bringing to the heart of Central Europe a product that represents one of the most recognizable symbols of Italian food culture.
The race, included in the UCI Europe Tour international calendar, featured five days of racing with sprint finishes, breakaways and challenging climbs. The overall victory went to Belgian Lennert Van Eetvelt, who was also prominent at the concluding finish on the Kráľova hoľa climb. In the first two stages, Frenchman Paul Magnier prevailed in the sprint, while the fourth stage was won by Hungarian Erik Fetter at the end of a breakaway that managed to resist the peloton's chase.
An authentically international competition, in which sport met the promotion of territories and their excellences. It is precisely in this intersection that Redoro's commitment is placed.
The connection between Redoro and cycling does not stem from a simple visibility operation. Extra virgin olive oil, a fundamental element of the Mediterranean diet, indeed recalls a model of balanced nutrition, attention to health and daily care of the person.
These are the same values expressed by sport: physical activity, consistency, prevention, respect for the body and the pursuit of well-being. Cycling, in particular, is a discipline that brings together physical activity, contact with nature, capacity for sacrifice and knowledge of territories.
"Extra virgin olive oil and cycling share the same culture of well-being," emphasizes Daniele Salvagno, president of Redoro Frantoi Veneti. "Being present at major sporting events means promoting a healthy and conscious lifestyle. But it also means telling the world beyond our borders an Italian product that is born from the work of olive growers, from the protection of the territory and from a production tradition passed down through generations."
At the Tour of Slovakia, Redoro brought more than just its brand. It brought a concrete expression of Italianness, made of quality raw materials, food culture, production expertise and connection to the land.
Italian extra virgin olive oil is indeed much more than a condiment: it is one of Italy's natural ambassadors to the world. It tells the story of landscapes, olive varieties, the work of families and businesses, the conviviality of the table and a lifestyle recognized internationally.
Participation in the Tour of Slovakia thus also assumes a value of promoting Made in Italy agribusiness, especially in Central European markets, which are increasingly attentive to the origin, quality and sustainability of products.
The international presence in Slovakia completes a path that in 2026 has seen Redoro engaged alongside some important cycling events.
At the Giro d'Italia, Redoro was the official product of the Corsa Rosa, linking Italian extra virgin olive oil to one of the most well-known and followed sporting events in the world. The commitment continued in women's cycling, with the sponsorship of the White Jersey of the Giro d'Italia Women, dedicated to the best young rider in the general classification.
Redoro also supported the Pantani Memorial, an event that keeps alive the memory of one of the most beloved champions of Italian cycling, and the Golden Week of Borgo Valsugana, an appointment dedicated to youth cycling.
In Valsugana, from the Golden Cup, reserved for the youngest riders, to the Gold Cup for Juniors, thousands of boys and girls took to the road. A particularly significant choice, because investing in youth sport means supporting education, growth, sociability and respect for the rules.
From children to young talents, through to professionals in major international competitions, Redoro's project thus spans all ages of cycling.
"We want to be close to both great champions and to young people who climb on a bicycle for the first time to participate in a race," concludes Salvagno. "Sport teaches that results are born from daily commitment. It is the same lesson that belongs to our work: to produce quality Italian extra virgin olive oil requires time, experience, hard work and respect for nature."
With its presence at the Tour of Slovakia, Redoro thus consolidates a strategy capable of uniting sport, health, youth, territory and international promotion of Italian extra virgin olive oil. A path in which every sporting achievement also becomes an opportunity to tell an authentic heritage of Italy.
