Switzerland's team is a major protagonist on Canadian roads just days before the world championships in Montreal. Following Marlen Reusser's victory yesterday in the Chrono Féminin de Gatineau, today it was Steffi Häberlin who secured success in the Tour de Gatineau, a 121-kilometer race. The Swiss national champion imposed herself ahead of Australian Liv Alula Jayco's Georgia Baker and young Canadian Ava Holmgren, competing with the local U23 representative team. Worth noting is the twenty-first place finish of Linda Sanarini who competed in the Canadian race with Tirol Women Cycling.
