The rider from Faenza, already world champion in the Kilometre Time Trial, bows only to Britain's Ioan Hepburn, who claims the title in two matches managed with authority. On the third step of the podium stands South Korean Hajin Jeon, who managed to overtake Taiwan's Yi Kuan Lin in the bronze medal final.

In the 3 km Individual Pursuit, Maria Acuti completes her ride in 3:32.857, a time that earns her eighth place in qualifying and does not allow her access to the finals. The title goes to France's Bihan, silver to American Jemenez Palos, bronze to Australian Moore.

Closing the penultimate day of the championships is the junior women's Points Race won by Russia's Olga Kostina, with Germany's Spath in second place and Canada's Buczkowski in third: Italy's Alessia Orsi finished seventh.
