When you have a young and talented athlete like Célia Gery in your squad, capable of excelling both on the road and in cyclocross, it's natural to build a sports project that showcases her qualities. That's exactly what Stephen Delcourt and FDJ United – SUEZ decided to do.
Just a few days ago, the General Manager of the French team had announced his intention to focus on multidisciplinary racing and "do something great this winter in cyclocross. Create something around Célia".
From the statement of intent to the birth of the team, very little time has passed: consulting the UCI database in the cyclocross section for the 2026-2027 season, the profile of the SPECIALIZED TMRW team appears, with Delcourt at the head of management and Gery and Wiel among the athletes, currently competing in road races with FDJ United – SUEZ. Joining them will be Swiss rider Anja Grossmann, born in 2008.
It's important to note that among the various regulation changes, from 2027 the UCI has introduced a scoring system that will "reward" athletes and teams that compete in multiple disciplines.
Delcourt also said: "It's too early to reveal everything". We'll wait, but what we know so far is already enough for enthusiasts to look forward to a great winter spectacle.
