1: THE FIRST BREAKTHROUGH
Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney celebrates her first stage victory at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, becoming the 22nd different cyclist to win a stage in the race. It is also a historic milestone for Poland, which becomes the 11th different nation to win a stage. Just four days earlier, Sigrid Haugset had become the 21st different stage winner, while Norway had become the 10th nation to record a stage victory.

40: PERSEVERANCE REWARDED
Present in every edition of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift since 2022, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney has finally claimed her first stage victory... on her 40th attempt! Despite having won the Yellow Jersey in 2024, the Polish cyclist had finished on the podium in six stages without ever reaching the top step (two second places and four thirds). She had also secured at least one stage podium in each of the first five editions of the race. Finally, her perseverance has been rewarded.

5: BACK IN YELLOW
Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney wore the last four Yellow Jerseys of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2024. Two years later, the Polish cyclist has returned to the top of the standings, wearing the Yellow Jersey for the fifth time. This makes her the third most decorated cyclist in the race's history in terms of Yellow Jerseys worn, behind Marianne Vos (8) and Lotte Kopecky (6). Niewiadoma-Phinney had not been leading the general classification of a race since her triumph on Alpe d'Huez in 2024.

4: THE FANTASTIC FOUR
After Lorena Wiebes (stages 1-2), Sigrid Haugset (stage 3) and Marlen Reusser (stages 4-5-6), Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney is the fourth different cyclist to lead the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2026. Four different Yellow Jersey wearers in a single edition: an unprecedented event! There were three leaders in 2022 (Wiebes, Marianne Vos, Annemiek van Vleuten), in 2024 (Charlotte Kool, Demi Vollering, Niewiadoma-Phinney) and in 2025 (Vos, Kim Le Court Pienaar, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot); and two in 2023 (Lotte Kopecky, Vollering).

15: CLOSER THAN EVER
Only 15 seconds separate Yellow Jersey wearer Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney from her closest challenger, Demi Vollering, after seven stages. This is the tightest general classification between the top two positions in the history of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift at this point in the race. The smallest gap between the top two after seven stages had been 26 seconds, in 2025, between Kim Le Court-Pienaar (race leader) and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot (second).

2: FOLLOWING IN BAUERNFEIND'S FOOTSTEPS
Ricarda Bauernfeind gave Canyon//SRAM its first stage victory at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift in Albi in 2023. Three years later, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney has added a second success to the German team's palmares, bringing the squad back to victory.

1: ONE STEP FURTHER
Third on the stage, Elisa Longo Borghini has claimed her first podium at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. She has improved on her previous best result, 4th place in Provins in 2022. This is Italy's eighth stage podium, achieved by four different cyclists (Elisa Balsamo, Marta Bastianelli, Silvia Persico and Elisa Longo Borghini), but the wait for the first stage victory continues.

4: THE GIANT OF PROVENCE
Making its debut at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Mont Ventoux is the highest peak of the 2026 edition and the fourth highest point reached by the peloton since the race's return in 2022. The cyclists reached an altitude of 1,910 meters today, just below the 1,924 meters of Col du Glandon (2024), the 2,000 meters of Col de la Madeleine (2025) and the 2,115 meters of Col du Tourmalet (2023).
