Lidl Trek arrives at the start of the Tour de France Femmes with three leaders and a roster very similar to the one seen at the Giro d'Italia Women. Elisa Balsamo, winner of four stages at the "pink race" and coming off a second-place finish in the general classification at the Tour of Poland, will be the team's reference point in sprint finishes, while  Niamh Fisher-Black and Isabella Holmgren, fifth and seventh respectively in the final standings of the Giro, will be protagonists when the road climbs and will target the general classification.

Winner of the white jersey at the Giro d'Italia Women, the talented Canadian cyclist is making her Tour de France debut but will be able to count on her teammates' support to best tackle the nine stages on the program and thus also aim for the young riders' classification.

Experience will be guaranteed by the important presence of Amanda Spratt, who is about to tackle her nineteenth Grand Tour of her career, and Lucinda Brand who, as already happened at the Giro, will offer the team excellent race vision and crucial support for Balsamo's sprint finishes.

Completing the German team's roster at the Tour de France Femmes 2026 will be Loes Adegeest, who could launch attacks from far out, just as recently happened at the Tour of Switzerland, and  Riejanne Markus to whom Lidl Trek relies especially to set the pace at the front of the group.

The team will be guided by Ina-Yoko Teutenberg who, on the eve of the important French appointment, emphasized how the time trial that will conclude in Dijon and the climb to the   Mont Ventoux will be decisive for the general classification, then explaining: "This year we've chosen a team with all the management and performance group and we want to approach the Tour day by day, because we really want to secure that stage victory that the team hasn't achieved in the last five years of the Tour de France Femmes"
