After yesterday's fireworks, the Tour de France turns its back on the Massif Central and presents an eleventh stage of this edition that once again caters to the sprinters. On the agenda is the Vichy-Nevers route of 161.3 km, with 1,400 meters of elevation gain and just two light categorized climbs.

Certainly, the French plains are never... completely flat, but today there are really few difficulties: the first categorized climb will be the Côte de Billonière at km 32.9, 1.1 km at 5.8%, fourth category just like the other climb, the Côte de Billy-Chevannes at km 123.4, 1.5 km at 5%.

There will certainly be attacks from the usual brave riders, but it is likely that the sprinters' teams will not give much room and will want to play their cards with their sprinters on the avenue that borders the Parc des Expositions in Nevers.
