A welcome return home to Team Biesse Carrera Premac, with the Brescia-based Continental squad reuniting with Giacomo Villa, a Brianza-born rider born in 2002 who returns to the team directed by Marco Milesi and Dario Nicoletti, where he had already raced during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. For him, his debut with the "new" jersey will be on Saturday in the Elite road race at the Italian Championships in Piedmont.

"Unfortunately" - says team manager Milesi - "Giacomo was left effectively without a team after Petrolike's financial difficulties. Over these years he hasn't been fortunate in this regard, as the same situation had happened with Bingoal (which later became Wagner Bazin WB in 2025, ed. note). In my opinion, Giacomo deserves a place among the professionals and we were happy to welcome him into our roster to try to help him and put him in the best possible conditions to return among the 'pros' where he had previously raced. We're trying to restore his morale and determination along with opportunities to showcase himself and relaunch him towards professionalism. At the same time, his return gives us good support in terms of experience in a very young group".

"In this decision" - the words of Giacomo Villa - "the positive experience I had here during those two seasons (2022 and 2023) certainly played a role, where a great group had formed. Even afterwards, a good relationship remained and whenever we saw each other at races we would chat willingly. When, after racing this year in the United States in early May and returning to Italy, I realized that the situation at Petrolike was far from rosy, I first asked Team Biesse Carrera Premac for bureaucratic clarification and then I made my request to return to the roster. Within a few days came the positive response and I'm very happy. In the races I'll compete in, I'll try to give my best; my goal remains to try to return among the professionals. Starting with the Italian Championships is certainly motivating, even though I'm aware that the level of the tricolor race is high".
