There is no real news story and no winner either, just a 5-year-old boy who is the son and grandson of cycling photographers who is having fun in the saddle of his little bicycle and made his "competitive" debut at the Tre Sere in Busto Garolfo last Tuesday (he also raced a couple of times on the road, to have fun as is right for his age). We're talking about Giacomo Bettini, son and grandson of a cycling dynasty. Son of Luca and grandson of Roberto, a dynasty of cycling photographers, appreciated worldwide, who have been following professional cycling for fifty years.
Under the watchful eyes of his mother Giulia and his little sister Rachele, Giacomo (who will be six in November) let loose with his little friends in PG (Youth Promotion) races and here he was captured by the lens of his father Luca. Grandfather
Proud as few others, it seems that he did, however, point out to friends, relatives and grandmother Paola, the posture of his little Giacomo, how his grandson sits so elegantly in the saddle. Indeed, the rider's posture is already there: if these are roses, they will bloom, and someone, surely, will scatter photos.
