The second stage of the 16th edition of the Giro Handbike will take place in Cesano Maderno on Sunday, June 21st. Everything is ready in the beautiful Brianza city to host the event, a sector leader also in Europe, which in 2026 is entirely international in character and included in UCI Category C1.

I am certain that this year too it will offer the same welcome to the athletes of the Giro Handbike, hosting the second stage of the sixteenth edition, which will have a special significance, as we will also remember our friend Alex Zanardi, the undisputed pioneer of our sport. The athletes, approximately 50, will compete on a 5.1 km circuit that runs through the city center with the start at 11 a.m. and the finish after one hour and one lap, also in Piazza Mons. Arrigoni.

The entire city will be animated from the morning with the presentation of the official Giro Handbike jerseys: pink jersey STELLANTIS AUTONOMY; red jersey G3 Officine meccaniche for the fast team; white jersey SEO for the best young athlete in the race and black jersey PMP. The awards ceremony will be held in the early afternoon in the Cortile d'Onore of Palazzo Arese Jacini, the seat of the Municipality, in Piazza Arese.
