The countdown has begun. Gruppo Sportivo Emilia is already at work preparing an intense and event-filled end to the season, which will see the organization of five international events in less than a month.
It will kick off on September 12 with the Marco Pantani Memorial, one of the most cherished classics on the Italian calendar, dedicated to the memory of the unforgettable Romagna champion, promoted and supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region, the municipalities of Cesenatico and Riccione, and deeply rooted in the territory that preserves his sporting and human legacy.
The following month will then be characterized by a double appointment of the highest level: the Giro dell'Emilia Women and the Giro dell'Emilia Men, scheduled for October 3, ready once again to deliver spectacle on the roads leading to the scenic San Luca finish. The races are organized with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the municipalities of Ferrara and Bologna, confirming the strong connection with a territory that has always embraced cycling with passion and participation.
GS Emilia's organizational season will conclude on October 11 with the Textile & Fashion Trophy - Municipalities of Valdengo and Biella Women and the Textile & Fashion Trophy - Municipalities of Valdengo and Biella Men, races that in their second edition have already managed to secure an increasingly important role in the international landscape. Behind the scenes, the organizational machinery is already fully operational. The teams that will take part in the races are now confirmed, and the interest shown by major international teams confirms the prestige and appeal of the events organized by GS Emilia.
"We face a particularly demanding but also extremely stimulating period," notes GS Emilia president Adriano Amici –. Organizing five events of this caliber in less than a month requires great teamwork and extraordinary attention to detail. We are proud of the interest our races continue to generate in international cycling, and we are confident that this year too they will deliver spectacle and emotion to enthusiasts."
In the coming weeks, all the details of each event will be revealed, from the routes to the participants, as well as the numerous side initiatives that will accompany these prestigious appointments on the international cycling calendar.
