What Matteo Sobrero pulled off at the Giro d'Italia was an authentic masterclass in domestique work. Three weeks without being able to catch his breath, always ready to help either Milan or Ciccone or Gee. Sometimes even more than one team leader in the same stage, like in the Dolomites where he brought the Italian national champion in a breakaway, then waited for the Canadian national champion and did the same for him. There were difficult moments, like the virus that hit nearly halfway through the Giro, but in the end his sacrifices were rewarded by a final week where all the pieces fell back into place. Right up to the magical finale in Rome. Now it's time to rest and then focus on the Italian championships. But first, the interview with us!
Besides Sobrero, the protagonists of episode number 325 of BlaBlaBike are Matteo Tosatto and Roberto Damiani
