Through a series of mini-videos directly from the massage room, complete with subtitled audio, Unibet Rockets have confirmed that Dylan Groenewegen suffered no serious consequences from the massive crash in the final kilometre of the opening stage of the Giro d'Italia. The Dutch sprinter will line up as scheduled from Burgas tomorrow and already has his sights set on the sprint finish in Sofia on Sunday.
Kaden Groves (Alpecin Premier Tech) and Matteo Moschetti (Pinarello Q36.5) were also among those caught up in the same group crash. We'll have to wait and see how their Giro progresses.
