Team Movistar has announced its official lineup for the first Grand Tour of the season, which will take place from May 8th to 31st and, in an absolute novelty, will start from Nesebar, Bulgaria, before concluding, as tradition dictates, in Rome.
Enric Mas, Orluis Aular, Einer Rubio, Javier Romo, Iván G. Cortina, Lorenzo Milesi, Juanpe López, Nelson Oliveira: Team Movistar will arrive at the Giro with a balanced squad that combines Grand Tour experience, young talents, and versatility to tackle every type of stage. The squad will be led by Enric Mas, making his Giro debut, who is aiming for the best possible general classification finish.
Alongside him, Team Movistar will be able to count on riders capable of excelling on different terrains. Orluis Aular will guarantee speed in bunch sprints, while Javier Romo and Einer Rubio will be protagonists in the mountains. Iván G. Cortina will offer multiple options in hilly stages and final sprints, supported by Lorenzo Milesi, a time trial specialist. Completing the squad are Juanpe López, with proven Giro d'Italia experience, and Nelson Oliveira, whose role will be crucial in race management and strategic support during key moments.
