The Belgian rider from Lotto Intermarché has ended a drought that lasted since last September and won in a sprint the eighth edition of the Lotto Famenne Ardenne Classic, contested over a distance of 186.7 km with start and finish in Marche-en-Famenne.

De Lie outsprinted young compatriot Jens Verbrugghe of NSN Development Team and Matteo Moschetti of Pinarello-Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. Closing out the top ten was another Italian flag thanks to Giovanni Bortoluzzi of General Store.
