UAE Team ADQ announces that, due to a viral illness with upper respiratory tract infection that developed overnight, Italian champion Elisa Longo Borghini will be unable to take the start of the second edition of the Milano-Sanremo Women.

She will be replaced by Alena Amialiusik, who will complete the lineup alongside the athletes already announced: Mavi Garcia, Dominika Wlodarczyk, Eleonora Gasparrini, Silvia Persico and Brodie Chapman.
