Following Coquard's success yesterday in the GP South Aegean, the weekend of 1.1 category races on the Greek island of Rhodes is completed today with the GP Dodecanese: similar route (160.8 kilometers) and identical finish in the village of Salakos. The three fugitives of the day were caught 17 km from the finish, at the foot of the penultimate climb, everything was decided as expected on the final two-kilometer ramp: victory for Ivan Cobo (Kern Pharma) ahead of an excellent Ludovico Mellano (XDS Astana Development), the Unibet Rockets duo Jelle Johannink and Lander Loockx, the other two "Astana devo" Mattia Negrente and Gustav Wang, then 8th Gotzon Martin (Euskaltel Euskadi) and completing the top-10 Ludovico Crescioli and Diego Sevilla of Polti VisitMalta.
