After the start (11:15 AM) from Poetto, the first 20 km are perfectly flat, while in the following phase a series of undulations, more or less pronounced, begin that should not be underestimated, especially for those teams that, with a view to organizing a sprint finish, want to keep the race tight.
At the peak of the most significant of these, Punta Culumbaris, there is a GPM finish line. This is followed by approximately other km that are mostly flat, before a slightly more undulating stretch and then the road rises again, albeit slightly, until the second finish line valid as a GPM, located at Genna Cresia. The subsequent descent is also very gradual and free of difficulties. The last 20 km are substantially flat or just slightly undulating until reaching the final straight, approximately 800 meters long, wide and slightly uphill.
Today's stage will be broadcast live on Rai Sport, on HBO Discovery platforms and on the Professional Cycling League YouTube channel starting at 1:40 PM. tuttobiciweb, as mentioned, offers you live coverage of the entire stage so you don't miss a single pedal stroke.
