It is increasingly common for professional cyclists that the relationship with fans during training on Spanish roads is not exactly idyllic.
This time the protagonist is world champion Tadej Pogacar - who for a few days has been sporting an unusual blonde hairstyle that has earned him more than a few jokes from his colleagues, starting with Mathieu Van der Poel - who yesterday, while training, had to deal with an overly intrusive fan.
No fall, as unfortunately happened to Jonas Vingegaard two weeks ago, but an episode that Pogacar himself wanted to share on his Strava profile. After more than three hours around Valencia - at almost 41 km/h, with an average power of 307 watts - the Slovenian wrote: "Honest question to all fans: if you find me chatting with someone and ask me for a photo, and I ask you to give me two minutes to finish the conversation, do you wait 2 minutes or do you show me the middle finger and walk away angry, maybe with your training partner yelling at me? A long day ended with the loss of my biggest fan. By the way, I love all fans, even those who are not my supporters, the important thing is that they don't behave like spoiled teenagers."
