Emilien Jacquelin loves cycling and has always had Marco Pantani in his heart: now he also has him on his ear. The 30-year-old transalpine biathlete has decided to pay homage to the Pirate by wearing one of his earrings.
For the transalpine biathlete, the bicycle is not just a means of summer training but a true passion. The young man practiced cycling before deciding to dedicate himself body and soul to biathlon, and he still doesn't miss following various races live as a passionate photographer, such as the Critérium du Dauphiné or Strade Bianche. As a great fan of Marco Pantani, he has also visited the museum in Cesenatico. And precisely for the Olympic Games, the 30-year-old transalpine decided to honor the Pirate with a very special accessory: none other than an earring belonging to the Pirate.
Jacquelin showcased it today during the French team's press conference in Anterselva, explaining that it is a gift directly from the Pantani family: "Marco Pantani's family (his mother Tonina and his father Paolo, ed.) has allowed me to do something important: wear one of his earrings for the next two weeks," reports RMC Sport.
