In recent months, the author has had the opportunity to attend a conference organized by the CONI Lombardia Sports School, admirably directed by Adriana Lombardi. The title of the day was Colpi di testa [Head Shots] and, through a series of strictly scientific presentations, it conveyed a fundamental message to those present: if there's no blood, it doesn't necessarily mean everything is fine. Especially when it comes to... head shots, precisely. Or rather, blows to the head.

It wasn't specifically about cycling, but sports in general, and for this reason we didn't report it at the time here on Tuttobiciweb. However, among the speakers was a true bicycle enthusiast: Rossella Tomaiuolo (on the left in the photo-collage of the article, where we placed her next to a Ganna adjusting his helmet) director of the Specialization School in Clinical Pathology and Clinical Biochemistry at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan.
We therefore asked some specific questions to Prof. Tomaiuolo, whom we thank for her availability to provide in-depth answers: READ THE INTERVIEW ON TUTTOBICITECH
