Lucinda Brand won the tenth round of the Women's Elite Cyclocross World Cup held in Benidorm, Costa Blanca, Spain. The outstanding Dutch rider thus consolidates her lead in the special points classification that she is literally dominating. Behind Brand came the new Dutch champion Alvarado, the French riders Fouquenet and Gery, and the Czech Zemanova. A good performance by Lucia Bramati and Rebecca Gariboldi, who finished in eleventh and twelfth positions respectively.
