The Pol. Monsummanese junior team marks the season 2026 with novelties. Ten athletes, of which only three are confirmed, a new sports director with extensive experience like the Pistoia native Andrea Bardelli, and among the new arrivals, an Australian athlete who is highly spoken of.

The society of president Alessio Giusfredi thus restarts with justified ambitions after giving confidence to the trio including Andrea Bonciani, Niccolò Cianti and Marco Parigi, three young athletes who have demonstrated interesting skills and room for improvement during the last season. From Team Coratti comes the Arezzo native Brando Farsetti, from Team Iperfinish Andrea Mugnai. In the renewal program, Pol. Monsummanese has signed Stefano Niccolini from Olimpia Valdarnese, while from cyclocross, where he was a brilliant protagonist and regional title winner, comes Leonard Sani. The Pistoia society has also recruited a couple of athletes from other regions. From Puglia arrives Walter Vaglio, an excellent mountain biker who has achieved significant results and wants to excel on the road. From Sardinia comes Luca Biancu, while the Valdinievole team has secured an eighteen-year-old Australian about whom great things are said and who has particularly distinguished himself both on road and track.

Ollie Ward, in fact, has won the Australian national title in the Madison track event and has also won the road title, in addition to drawing the attention of technicians in a couple of short stage races. An important acquisition on which the technicians are placing high hopes for the next season that Pol. Monsummanese will open on Sunday, March 1st in Cerbaia di Lamporecchio at the G.P. Giuliano Baronti, a national race that this year offers a new route with a climb towards Montevettolini in the final part. The team's technical staff, in addition to the confirmation of Alessio Gradassi, includes the experienced Andrea Bardelli and Tommaso Farsetti. We also recall that the society will organize during 2026 a "Two Days" event with a time trial on Saturday, July 11th, followed 24 hours later by the road race.
