It's already Christmas time at Sc Padovani Polo Cherry Bank: as tradition dictates, patron Galdino Peruzzo gathered the large white-green family for the usual dinner during which athletes, staff, and management exchanged holiday greetings.

This year again, the Christmas gathering was an opportunity to renew the partnership with the Volunteer Organization "Il Giardino della Ricerca O.D.V." by joining the fundraising campaign in support of research against rare pediatric tumors carried out by the Pediatric Oncohematology Department of Padua Hospital.

During the convivial meeting held at the Polo Spa headquarters, panettones from "Il Giardino della Ricerca O.D.V." were distributed as gifts to support the association and raise awareness among cycling enthusiasts about the important medical research support activity carried out by parents of oncological children.

"Our association, born from the will of 13 parents who had a child affected by a rare oncological disease followed by the Pediatric Oncohematology Department of Padua, continues its research support activity" explained Davide Mezzalira, one of the founding members of Il Giardino della Ricerca O.D.V. "Today, thanks to numerous fundraising initiatives, we are supporting six important research and treatment projects for rare pediatric tumors carried out by a research team supported by Giardino della Ricerca. Moreover, in recent months we have adopted a new treatment protocol that arrived in Italy thanks to the involvement of Padua Hospital. The partnership with Polo Spa and Sc Padovani Polo Cherry Bank once again offers us a Christmas opportunity to raise awareness among cyclists, fans, and enthusiasts about the importance of research to give hope to children affected by rare tumors".
