Great show and surprising conclusion for the 42nd edition of the Rotterdam Six Days: the victory went to the Dutch pair composed of Vincent Hoppezak and Yanne Dorenbos, both achieving their first success at Rotterdam Ahoy.
The battle for final victory was thrilling until the last meters: after completing their comeback on Yoeri Havik-Iuri Leitão and Fabio Van den Bossche-Lindsay De Vylder, in the final Madison, Hoppezak and Dorenbos managed to gain another lap, concluding the event with 334 points, ahead of Havik and Leitão and the world madison champions Van den Bossche and De Vylder in third place.
A true feat because at the start of the last stage, Hoppezak and Dorenbos were two laps behind: when they conquered the decisive lap, the velodrome literally exploded.
In the GPN/Provato Sprint Cup, the super sprinter Harrie Lavreysen climbed to the top of the podium, just like in 2024, beating the new track record holder Matthew Richardson.
