A packed room provided the backdrop for the conference "Towards New Horizons: The Future of Cycling", organized by the PrimeLex law firm together with Banca Generali Private and LIS SpA. At the center of the evening was the presentation of the "Prime Cycling Manager Award" to Mauro Gianetti, CEO of UAE Team Emirates XRG, awarded as the world's best cycling manager for 2025.
Alongside Gianetti were Fabio Aru, the President of CONI Lombardy Marco Riva, and lawyer Alberto Ziliani, who engaged in a comprehensive discussion on the hot topics of modern cycling. From the role of technology to the evolution of management models, and the new frontiers of integration between sports, territories, and sustainable development, the debate offered a rich perspective of insights and visions.
The most anticipated moment was naturally Gianetti's award, who has led UAE Team Emirates XRG to the top of international cycling. "Receiving the PrimeLex recognition is a great honor" – Gianetti said – "and it is the result of the passion and commitment I put into my work every day. I was able to share the behind-the-scenes of the team and the project that, in the United Arab Emirates, promotes cycling as a healthy lifestyle: a unique model that can inspire other countries".
Fabio Aru's speech was also highly anticipated, who described the evening as "a special moment, full of energy, ideas, and passion". "Sharing the stage with lawyer Ziliani and Gianetti – he explained – was a privilege. The dialogue that emerged during the event demonstrates that cycling is primarily about people, visions, and values. I am truly honored to have participated in this first edition".
Closing the evening were the words of lawyer Alberto Ziliani, who emphasized the cultural value of the initiative: "It was an extraordinary opportunity for enthusiasts and professionals. Listening to such authoritative testimonies allowed us to better understand the dynamics of this wonderful sport. As for the award, I believe no one deserved it more than Gianetti: for the results achieved, but also for his ability to lead a team with vision and foresight".
