The appointment with The Night of the Awards is approaching, which marks the ideal conclusion of the 2025 season and paves the way for a new adventure. On stage will be, as always, the best athletes of the year in every category: we will present one per day, in a path leading up to the party on Friday, November 28th in Milan.
To be at the top of today's cycling, one must never stop working, and this is exactly what Jonathan Milan is doing, already taking care of the details for the new season. The Friulian from Lidl-Trek, who this year brought the green jersey of the Tour de France back to Italy, confirms himself as the best Under-26 professional in Italy.
The second win in the TUTTOBICI White Jersey Award 2025 - ACM Asphalt Grand Prix is a source of pride for Jhonny, who is ready to leave for Germany where in the next few days he will conduct some aerodynamic tests with the time trial bike that will allow him to be even faster.

"8+. I achieved all the goals I set a year ago and had fun with my teammates, and for me, that's what matters. Feeling good in the team is the primary ingredient for results to come. It was a very important year, in which I set new goals that I managed to achieve. Perhaps I chased my form a bit at the end of the season, after the Grande Boucle I was more mentally than physically tired, but objectively I couldn't ask for more."
The highlight?
"The Champs-Élysées. Concluding my first Tour de France in the green jersey and climbing onto the final podium in Paris is an emotion hard to describe. It's a scene I've always watched on TV, I've dreamed of it, and managing to make it a reality was worth all the effort endured in the mountain stages."
The lesson learned?
"There's always a small mistake to learn from. Every sprint is different, we're not robots, but for example in the third stage of the Tour when Tim Merlier won by 2 millimeters at the photo finish, I wasn't focused enough on positioning, keeping my head down, taking the right trajectory, taking care of those little things that ultimately make the difference. If you notice and understand where you went wrong, the next time you remember and try not to make the same mistake."
How important is it for you to win the TUTTOBICI Award as the best young rider again?
"It makes me feel young in a group where there are increasingly more very young talents (smiles, ed.). I'm very happy to have won this award for the second year in a row and I take this opportunity to congratulate my teammate Giulio Ciccone, who was the best overall among us Italians in the world ranking, earning the Award reserved for Professionals."
What do you remember about last year's awards ceremony?
"It was a beautiful gala, full of people who care about the world of cycling and many young people from all categories. A nice party, after which I thought: the young riders are here and they're doing well. I imagine that this time, for the 30th anniversary of TUTTOBICI, you'll have done things even bigger: have fun everyone and best wishes to the editorial staff."
