The route is 197 km long: a first flat section will be followed by a challenging hilly circuit around Castrocaro, characterized by the Le Volture climb, to be tackled seven times. A selective and unpredictable route that will guarantee excitement until the last kilometer.
The race will count as a stage of the Coppa Italia delle Regioni, the circuit that promotes the best cycling talents from Italian territories, and will feature one World Tour team, seven Professional teams, and ten Continental teams, confirming the international level of the event. tuttobiciweb will provide live coverage of the entire race, followed by live transmission of the last 90 minutes on the Professional Cycling League website and a delayed broadcast on Rai Sport on Monday, September 22 at 8:15 PM.
Among the registered riders are several top names: Diego Ulissi, Simone Velasco and Christian Scaroni (Astana Qazaqstan Team), Manuele Tarozzi, Filippo Magli and Luca Covili (VF Group Bardiani CSF-Faizanè), Kristian Sbaragli and Valerio Conti (Solution Tech Vini Fantini), Gianluca Brambilla, Walter Calzoni and Fabio Christen (Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team), Ivan Cobo (Equipo Kern Pharma), Davide Bais and Samuele Zoccarato (Team Polti–VisitMalta), Ben Granger (Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente), Fabio Felline (MBH Bank Ballan CSB), Jonathan Caicedo (Petrolike) and Alessandro Fancellu (Team Ukyo).
September 21 will be a day entirely dedicated to cycling: in the morning, the Romagna Tour for Juniors will also be held in Castrocaro, approximately between 10 AM and 12 PM, while at the Lugo start there will also be a solidarity ride Via Romagna for IOR and the BicicletTiAmo! project by the Regional FCI Emilia-Romagna Committee, with skill courses for children and families.
