After the first rest day, spent with Norwegian Torstein Traeen continuing to live his fairy tale in the red jersey, the Vuelta España restarts with a stage that very much resembles the last one, won by Jonas Vingegaard who therefore, logically, becomes the automatic favorite today.

The tenth stage starts from Sendaviva Nature Park, in the heart of Navarra, to conclude after 175.3 km at El Ferrial Larra Belagua. The stage is characterized by a winding planimetric profile while from an altimetric perspective it continues to climb slightly to tackle the Alto de las Coronas (8.3 km at 4.4%) 50 km from the finish and then arrive at the final first-category climb measuring 9.4 km at 6.3%. It's the same climb that, first tackled in 2023, saw Remco Evenepoel's victory.
