The ninth stage, although without any mountain grand prix (GPM), presents a sufficiently varied development to favor those who will have the courage to dare and attempt an attack that could even succeed.
The scenario changes in the final part of the race with the climb leading to the Valdezcaray ski station: the climb measures 13.2 km with an average gradient of 5% and, while not extremely difficult, could put in trouble those who find themselves with heavy legs after an intense week.
