First major event for the "International Women's Tour of Tuscany" scheduled from September 4th to 7th. On Friday (August 29th), in the splendid venue of "Principino" in Viareggio, the official presentation of the 29th edition of one of the most important stage races in the entire women's cycling landscape will take place.

The rich afternoon (starting at 5 pm) will include a description of the "Tuscany" through a video, speeches by numerous invited guests, a parade of jerseys up for grabs, and the traditional good luck cake cutting.

Meanwhile, in recent days, the organizing president Brunello Fanini visited the Rehabilitation Center of the Maic Foundation (Maria Assunta in Cielo) in Pistoia. For years, an extraordinary collaboration has been ongoing with great satisfaction between the Tour and the differently-abled young people attending the "Arts and Crafts" workshop at the Center. They are the ones who produce the coveted (and appreciated) prizes (true works of art) that are awarded, along with representative cups, to stage winners and the final classification leader.

Regarding side initiatives, it's worth noting that in this edition the guest of honor will be Claudio Chiappucci, well-known and appreciated by fans for his climbing skills, aggressive racing style, and always attacking approach. The "Diablo" will be present at the race to pay tribute to Michela Fanini, who was always his fan.

The "Tuscany" is entirely dedicated to the unforgettable Michela Fanini and mom Giulietta, daughter and wife of patron Brunello Fanini, respectively.

September 5th (2nd stage) – Serravalle P.se (Pt)-Quarrata (Pt), 110 km
September 6th (3rd stage) – Segromigno in Piano-Segromigno P. (Lu), 117 km
September 7th (4th stage) – Lucca-Montecatini Terme (Pt), 146 km
