But Sarah Gigante had to deal with bad luck: "My brief phase as Sarah 3.0 was so fantastic that the next step was inevitably... Sarah 4.0," the Australian wrote on social media, referring to her long history of injuries. "Unfortunately, I fell during training and broke my femur, but the surgery went well and I'm already counting the days until my return to the saddle."
And further: "I was looking forward to representing Australia at the World Championship in Rwanda and then concluding my season with the classics in Italy. But at least I can say that the four races I competed in this year were all fantastic. And I certainly know how to recover from an injury...
