The rider from Vicenza of Breganze Millenium reaches the final where she is defeated by the incredibly strong Dam Ida Fialla (third title for the Danish rider) who also sets a new world record in 3:31.442. The Italian rider finishes with a time of 3:35.568. British rider Arabella Blackburn (3:34.411) takes the bronze, edging out German Magdalena Leis (3:34.962).
Ruben Ferrari secures bronze in the junior men's individual pursuit final. The son of a cycling family from Pool Cantù-GB Junior wins the small final in 3:11.152, beating German Hugo Esch who stops the clock at 3:15.652. Gold goes to British rider Henry Hobbs who covers the 3000 meters in 3:03.246, significantly ahead of French rider Luc Royer who finishes in 3:10.597.
Fourth place for Davide Stella in the under-23 standing start kilometer. The rider from Friuli races in 1:01.772, just a few hundredths of a second behind Spanish rider Sanchez Garmendia (1:01.449). The title goes to German Henric Hackmann in 1:00.497, with silver to French rider Etienne Oliviero in 1:00.616.
