The seventh stage of the Tour is entirely Breton, starting from Saint-Malo, on the ocean shores, to reach Mur-de-Bretagne after 197 kilometers that are anything but simple.

After the departure, with the sea behind, reaching Saint-Brieuc and passing through Yffiniac, the birthplace of the great Bernard Hinault.
