After the recent wave of placements, the magical moment of the Cycling School Towards the World Championship continues, with a huge thank you to their athletes because their attitude - seriousness and fun, mixed in the right proportion - continues to bear fruit.
In fact, on a hot Sunday in Noventa Padovana (PD), the team celebrates the victory of Marta Longo Borghini among the first-year beginners. After already demonstrating her qualities by winning in Guspini, Sardinia, this time Marta (who alternates cycling and cross-country skiing with equally winning results) raised the bar and was not only the best in her age group but also the second overall in a race concluded in a sprint with the victory of Giorgia Timis.
A result that provides motivation to continue growing and performing well, because it was once again achieved through remarkable team spirit. Gemma Canobbio, Francesca Consoli, and Yousra Fassih were also very good at running united and compact, showing good progress.
Among the juniors, Sara Peruta continues her impressive series, proving to be one of the most consistent girls in the national cycling scene. After second place in the time trial in Alzate Brianza and fourth place in Mazzano, Sara Peruta secured an excellent podium in Noventa Padovano, conquering a nice third place in the race won by Matilde Carretta. In this case, all the junior team girls deserve a mention because, both in the race and from the outside by cheering loudly, they demonstrate great attachment to the jersey, the team, but more than anything, to their teammates and the entire staff. Therefore, praise for today's beautiful results and their great generosity extends to Anna Longo Borghini, Isabella De Angelis, Marta Della Vedova, Layla Dresco, Lara Gorlani, and Alessia Zappella.
