The three international races of the 78th Gran Premio della Liberazione, held at the Terme di Caracalla on April 24th and 25th, namely the Cavaliere Liberazione Juniores, the Coati Liberazione Women, and the "queen race" for Under 23s under the aegis of Lazio Region, received an excellent evaluation in the report compiled by the UCI Commission President assigned to the event, Portuguese José Nascimento. In particular, the following were praised: the safety measures implemented by the organization (led by Claudio Terenzi) and race management (led by Agildo Mascitti) with excellent support from volunteers and local Rome police, the quality of hotel accommodations, streaming and TV broadcasts, the placement of technical assistance and supply zones, the beauty of the course, and public participation.
A recognition that further certifies the competence and organizational experience of Terenzi Sport Eventi in managing numerous events in just a few days, ensuring every quality standard. Especially in this edition, characterized by a climate of partial uncertainty in the days immediately preceding the Liberation GP following the passing of Pope Francis.
"I thank José Nascimento and UCI for this evaluation," declares Terenzi, "and I thank all members of my team for performing work worthy of such an evaluation. This year we brought to Caracalla not only the Liberazione, which raced through the heart of the Eternal City with all cycling categories, but also the Italian TTT Championship for Cadets on April 23rd, which inaugurated a three-day event called Lazio Bike Days. These recognitions further motivate me to continue this organizational work, and, compatibly with the movement's needs and available resources, I'm happy to make myself available for other cycling events that showcase the territory.".
