Matthew Brennan confirms himself as the true revelation of this early season. The nineteen-year-old British rider from Visma Lease a Bike won the second stage of the Tour of Norway with another demonstration of class. The 211.8 km Egersund - Oltedal stage featured a finish at the top of a 1-kilometer climb at 6.8 km, which Brennan tackled like a sprint and where he preceded Belgian Maxim Van Gils (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) and Monegasque Victor Langellotti (INEOS Grenadiers).
Brennan, at his sixth success of this fantastic season, completes his perfect afternoon by also conquering the leader's jersey in the general classification.
