In just over a month, exactly from June 20 to 22, the spectacle of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series will return to Val di Sole. In the memories and stories of champions who have raced on the Daolasa di Commezzadura tracks over the years, two characteristics always emerge: a visceral love for Mountain Biking in all its forms and the natural quality of the trails, immersed in the green of the woods and nestled among fascinating mountains.
It is precisely these aspects that APT Val di Sole and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole have chosen to draw inspiration from in rethinking the coordinated image of Val di Sole Bikeland, revealed just a month before the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series (20-22 June). A new logo that will accompany the Trentino destination in both its bike tourism product communication and the major international cycling events that Val di Sole regularly hosts since 2008: in just over a year, the Mountain Bike World Championships will also return to Trentino for the fourth time.
The graphic elements of the new logo, very essential, make it easily identifiable and fully represent Val di Sole's identity as a destination. Brown, the color of mountains and trails, blends with the green of nature and woods. Two "natural" colors that fully reflect the soul of the trails and the characteristics of a trail network that extends over protected woodland areas and two natural parks, the Stelvio National Park and the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
What makes Val di Sole so loved by champions and mountain bike enthusiasts are the naturalness of its trails, with limited use of artificial elements, and their technical coefficient among rocks, roots, and obstacles determined by the terrain's morphology. This is the soul of the Black Snake, the temple of Downhill and the jewel in the crown of a bike park, that of Daolasa di Commezzadura, among the most famous in Europe and the world.
