
Twenty-four juniors, twenty-one cadets and only two female cadets participated in the time trial at the Enzo Sacchi Velodrome in the Cascine Park in Florence, sponsored by "Pool Utensileria". The event organized by Pol. Virtus Settimo Miglio from Settimello, a society that will also manage this season's activities on the Florence facility thanks to its president Paolo Traversi, saw the success of cadet Pietro Martinelli from S.C. Villafranca, who clocked a time of 2'47"8 over the 3-kilometer course.
In the top positions were Diego De Stefano (Butese) in 2'49" and Filippo Belloni (S.C. Villafranca) in 2'49"5, followed by Liberomario Maffei (Coltano Grube) and Daniele Brocchi (Pol. Albergo Oliveto). Among the female cadets, Sara Colzi (G.S. Capannori) prevailed over her teammate Bianca Capitoni.
Among the juniors, a triumph for G.S. Iperfinish with 4 athletes in the top five. Edoardo Agnini won the 4-kilometer race with a time of 3'52"6, ahead of his teammate Marco Spanio in 3'52"9. Third place went to Niccolò Nieri (Fosco Bessi-Donoratico) with a time of 3'54"12, followed by Lorenzo Luci and Tommaso Roggi.
The two male category winners, cadet Pietro Martinelli and junior Edoardo Agnini, earned the right to be part of the Tuscan Regional Team in their respective categories, which will participate in the 2025 Italian Road Championships. Marco Lapucci, the regional track coach, was satisfied with the male participation in the race.
