From Albania to Rome, from the initial finish line in Tirana to the final one in Rome. From Friday, May 9th to Sunday, June 1st, Rai Radio1 and simultaneously on the digital channel Radio1 Sport, will narrate the entire Giro d'Italia meter by meter. Listeners will pedal alongside the protagonists along the entire 3,443.3 kilometers of the route, through 21 total stages, guided by reporters and the Rome studio.

Every day "On the Roads of the Giro" will be broadcast. Until Friday, Giovanni Scaramuzzino - as host in the Central Studio of Saxa Rubra and with the direction of Ombretta Conti - will set the rhythm between reporter interventions and guest commentary. All enhanced by the use of Rai's invaluable and vast archive, and as in previous years, popular segments of past radio commentaries will be rebroadcast.

Rai Radio's small and cohesive team is confirmed. At the finish line, Cristiano Piccinelli and (in the role of technical expert and commentator) Silvio Martinello, Olympic champion in Atlanta in 1996. Narrating the development of the race stage by stage, Manuel Codignoni and Massimo Ghirotto, a professional cyclist between the 1980s and 1990s, expert in race tactics.

Every race day, starting immediately after the 3 PM news bulletin, a series of quick update connections will begin. Then from 4:33 PM the long live broadcast "On the Roads of the Giro" will start until the stage's conclusion. Immediately following, "Off the Giro - Post Stage", with guest interventions commenting on the day's events, including live responses to radio listeners, and live interviews with the day's protagonists.

In the evening, from 9 PM, in "Zona Cesarini", comments, interviews, and presentation of the next day's stage.

On weekends, in "Saturday Sport" and "Sunday Sport", the Giro d'Italia stage will be added to the connected fields within "Every Minute of Football", while in the evening a "Giro d'Italia Special" will air, recapping the day for those who missed the afternoon's emotions.

Additionally, every day, after 6:10 PM on Facebook Live, "Giro Ratings" with Massimo Ghirotto and all other reporters.
