
An important experience, an opportunity for comparison, a chance to enrich their sporting and cultural background. The junior cyclists of Pedale Casalese Armofer are packing their bags for an important trip: from May 9th to 11th, they will be competing in the 49th edition of the Peace Race for under 17s in the Czech Republic, specifically in Jevicko.
The race, reserved for the category known as Juniors in Italy, will take place simultaneously with the junior race that will see many European national teams, including Italy, at the start.
Three days of racing for the juniors, with five stages in total: it begins on Friday, May 9th in Jevicko with an individual time trial of 1.4 km, followed in the afternoon by a line stage from Moravska Trabova to Jevicko of 82 km.
Saturday, May 10th also features a double commitment: in the morning, the Velke Opatovice circuit for 23 km and in the afternoon the Usobrno-Moravia line stage of 83 km.
Finally, on Sunday, the conclusion with another time trial, again in Jevicko, with a 14 km course.
Competing for Pedale Casalese will be Francesco Carloni, Peter Cinerari, Lorenzo Ghelfi, and Domenico Lo Piccolo. Accompanying them on this adventure will be sports directors Massimo Ghelfi, Giuseppe Tornese, and Stefano Cinerari, along with assistants Luigi Suardi and Fabrizio Carloni.
Two other Italian teams will also participate in the race, the Lombard US Biassono and the Tuscan SS Aquila.
