The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has selected the seven riders who will take part in the Giro d'Abruzzo, which will be held from April 15 to 18 on a challenging route, from Scerni to Isola del Gran Sasso. The course will offer very little flat terrain and will test the riders with frequent climbs. Among the most anticipated stages, the summit finish in Roccaraso on the third day stands out as a potential key turning point for the overall classification.
At the start will be the same protagonists who shone in the recent Giro di Reggio Calabria: Luca Colnaghi, Filippo Fiorelli, Matteo Scalco, Filippo Magli, Martin Marcellusi and Luca Paletti. Completing the lineup is the Verona native Enrico Zanoncello, winner of the opening stage in Pescara in the 2024 edition. The team will be directed from the team car by sports directors Alessandro Donati and Roberto Reverberi.
The stages of the Giro d'Abruzzo will be broadcast on Eurosport 1 from April 15 to 18 starting at 1:40 PM, and will be available for streaming on Discovery+.
