TOUR OF THE ALPS 2025: FOUR JERSEYS, A THOUSAND STORIES

PROFESSIONALS | 20/03/2025 | 16:20

Tour of the Alps, less than a month away: on Easter Sunday, April 20th, the entire caravan of the Euroregional race will gather in San Lorenzo Dorsino, Trentino, the site of the opening of the 2025 edition (April 21-25) which promises, as always, to be packed with highlights and protagonists.

For those looking at the Tour of the Alps with important ambitions, as well as the events that follow it, it's already time to get serious: the roads of Trentino, Alto Adige, and Tyrol are fair but merciless judges, capable of launching a season - and sometimes a career - towards the top, or sending those without the right legs back to the drawing board.

Conquering a leader's jersey in the Tour of the Alps is an increasingly felt objective - proof of this is the battle that animates the GS Alto Garda race from the first intermediate sprint to the final straight of the last stage. On Thursday, March 20th in Bolzano, at the Casa della Pesa, the institutional headquarters of Euregio in Alto Adige, in the presence of political, sports, and military authorities, partners, and representatives of the stage locations, the Tour of the Alps revealed the four leader jerseys of the 2025 edition.

For the fourth year in a row, Alé Cycling, an Italian leader in cycling apparel for over 30 years and Official Sponsor of the Tour of the Alps until 2027, will design the style and jerseys that will reward the winners of the four classifications. Once again, Melinda and Gruppo Cassa Centrale will sponsor the Green Jersey of the general classification and the Blue Jersey of the Mountain Grand Prix, respectively. The Red Jersey of the Points Classification will be branded by Würth, while the White Jersey for the best young rider will be sponsored by FORST.

JERSEY SUMMARY
    Melinda Green Jersey (General Classification)
Gruppo Cassa Centrale Blue Jersey (Mountain Grand Prix Classification)
    Würth Red Jersey (Points Classification)
Forst White Jersey (Under 25 Young Riders Classification)

Melinda
The synergy between the Tour of the Alps and the Trentino consortium has a long-standing history that goes beyond sports, uniting common values and shared objectives. This partnership will be renewed in 2025, consolidating a bond that dates back to the Giro del Trentino days. Founded in 1989, Melinda now represents a global reference in the sector, bringing together over 4,000 Trentino families. Beyond apple production, the consortium stands out for continuous innovation, transforming fruit using cutting-edge technologies that preserve 100% of its natural qualities.

Gruppo Cassa Centrale
The Gruppo Cassa Centrale is alongside the Tour of the Alps this year as a Premium Sponsor. This consolidated collaboration reflects the recognition of sport not only as a factor of personal growth but also as a driver of social and economic development for Territories and Communities. A fundamental role concretely recognized in daily life, as demonstrated by the 30,000 sports initiatives that Cassa Centrale and its Affiliated Banks have supported capillary since the Group's establishment in 2019, totaling almost 50 million Euros.

Würth
Würth is a global giant in the sale of fastening and assembly products with a successful history alongside the Tour of the Alps. Consistency, team spirit, and continuous improvement represent essential values for Würth. The brand has always been strongly committed to the world of sports, supporting numerous disciplines and realities at local, national, and international levels. It's no coincidence that in 2024 they hosted the 'start' of the Tour of the Alps, welcoming teams and riders at their central headquarters in Egna.

FORST
Founded in 1857 in Lagundo, South Tyrol, FORST is a symbol of excellence in Italian beer production. With over 150 years of history, FORST skillfully combines tradition and innovation to create high-quality beers. A company strongly tied to its land, values, and traditions, growing with full respect for nature and the environment. Naturally sporty, FORST has also developed a zero-alcohol beer version, the first non-alcoholic beer with zero degrees in all of South Tyrol, increasingly popular among audiences of all ages.

ALE' CYCLING'S PR-R LINE DRESSES THE TOTA 2025 LEADERS
The jerseys from Alé Cycling's PR-R line will once again dress the Tour of the Alps leaders. PR-R is the reference range for the Verona-based brand in the custom world, also available for the most demanding amateurs who choose to rely on the quality of the Bonferraro di Sorgà company.

The design, as usual, is inspired by dynamism and electricity, characteristics of a euro-regional stage race characterized by contained kilometers but with fierce competition from the first to the last kilometer.

"We are proud of the path we have built together with the Tour of the Alps over the past three years. Our partnership has grown significantly, bringing value and innovation to each edition. The renewal for the next three years is a further step towards a common future of success, where we will continue to share our passion for cycling and support athletes at every level. Alé Cycling is excited to be alongside an event that represents excellence and challenge, just like our company," commented Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the company owning the Alé Cycling brand.

The Tour of the Alps has confirmed three of its four jersey sponsors in 2025. While the partnership with Melinda and Gruppo Cassa Centrale dates back to the Giro del Trentino days, the one with Würth is more recent but already rich in content. The South Tyrol company, which this year will sponsor the red points classification jersey instead of the white young rider jersey, hosted the eve of the #TotA at its central headquarters in Egna last year, confirming an increasingly strong and structured relationship. Compared to 2024, the Tour of the Alps welcomes Forst as the sponsor of the white jersey for the best young rider.

A NEW AMBASSADOR: LUKAS PÖSTLBERGER
In Bolzano, the Tour of the Alps introduced another significant innovation that well embodies the vision and development of the Euroregional project initiated by GS Alto Garda with Trentino Marketing, IDM Alto Adige, and Tirol Werbung eight years ago.

Following the successful experience started in 2024 with Daniel Oss, the #TotA will accompany the former Trentino professional with a new ambassador, with whom Oss himself had shared more than one season wearing the Team Bora-hansgrohe jersey.

This is Lukas Pöstlberger, an Austrian born in 1992, who has been a protagonist on the #TotA roads in recent years, leading the Austrian national team. Residing near Innsbruck, Tyrol, and transitioning to full-time gravel competitions from the 2025 season, Pöstlberger boasts two Austrian national road titles and was the first Austrian to win the Pink Jersey at the Giro d'Italia in 2017, conquering the inaugural stage in Olbia ahead of the sprinters' group.

A highly respected team player during his professional years, Pöstlberger will add an additional perspective to the race narrative, both on digital channels and on-field, bringing a particular focus on the Austrian movement and German-speaking audience.
