Sam Bennett won the third and penultimate stage of the Tour de la Provence (France), the 190-kilometer Rognac-Arles route, repeating his success from the first stage. The Irish Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team rider beat Van Den Berg and Konijn, with young Alessandro Borgo of Bahrain Victorious finishing eighth. In the general classification, Mads Pedersen (Lidl Trek) secured the final victory, repeating last year's success.
The stage was marked by an attack from Garcia Pierna (Arkea B&B Hotels), Leroux (Total Energies), Desal (Wagner Bazin WB), Arnes (Van Rysel Roubaix), Julien (CIC U Nantes), and Girard (Nice Metropole Cote d'Azur). They were caught by the peloton 800 meters from the finish.
