Tuscan cycling loses, on the first day of the new year, another manager respected for many years in the cycling sport and always close to USD Montecarlo, the society from the province of Lucca, which has had among its ranks great champions like Marco Giovannetti and Michele Bartoli. This morning, after a long illness, Ferdinando Di Galante, president of USD Montecarlo, passed away. His passing leaves a great void not only in the Lucca association but in all of Tuscan cycling, which remembers him for his nobility, composure, great passion, and love for young athletes who wore the Montecarlo jersey.
