FAS AIRPORT SERVICES GUERCIOTTI PREMAC, A SUNDAY BETWEEN WORLD CUP AND ITALY

The activity of the cyclocross team Fas Airport Services-Guerciotti-Premac is characterized by participation in many international challenges. On Sunday, December 15
some standard-bearers of the Milan team will participate in the World Cup test in Belgium. The World Cup races will take place in the area of the Namur fortress, a city in Wallonia where French is spoken.
DS Luca Bramati will line up around the historic fortress the Valtellina elite Gioele Bertolini and the Under-23 Valdostan Filippo Agostinacchio in the men's open race. The Under-23 Lucia Bramati will compete in the women's open. In Namur, the men's junior race is also scheduled, included in the international calendar but not part of the World Cup. Fas Airport Services-Guerciotti-Premac will be represented in the junior race by Mattia Agostinacchio, 17 years old, from Valle d'Aosta. At the European Cyclocross Championships in November 2024, Mattia Agostinacchio won 2 gold medals: individual race and team relay. Filippo Agostinacchio and Lucia Bramati are also European Team Relay Champions. Although it is not a World Cup test, Mattia will race in Namur to compete with the favorites for the 2025 World Championship.
The race in Wallonia will be a spectacular and challenging World Cup test. "Namur is a prestigious venue for cyclocross - emphasizes Luca Bramati - my riders will participate in a historic race. The circuit around the fortress is very technical and tiring, with a significant elevation change. There is a long uphill section that will put the protagonists to a hard test. It is the longest uphill section that cross riders will cover this season".
Naturally on Sunday 15 the Fas Airport Services-Guerciotti-Premac boys not involved in the World Cup will still aim for victory. The Under-23 Tommaso Ferri, the Under-23 Nelia Kabetaj, who is the Albanian Champion, the Italian junior champion Elisa Ferri and the Umbrian junior Mattia Proietti Gagliardoni will compete in the cross in Bibbiena, in the Arezzo area. Practically, siblings Elisa and Tommaso Ferri will race at home: they live in Montevarchi (Arezzo). Nelia Kabetaj, who is from Prato, also lives in Tuscany.
In the province of Brescia, in Sabbio Chiese, on Sunday, December 15, there will be a Lombardy Trophy test. For Paolo Guerciotti's team, the promising 16-year-old junior Elisa Bianchi from Lograto will aim for success. At the recent Mamma e Papà Guerciotti Grand Prix, the young Brescia rider finished second, preceded by Elisa Ferri.
