FAREWELL TO RENZO "BILL" MARIOTTI, A HISTORICAL MEMORY OF PESARO CYCLING AND BEYOND

MOURNING | 03/12/2024 | 09:25
There are people who leave a profound mark on the hearts of everyone they meet throughout their lives. Such was the case of Renzo Mariotti, known to everyone as "Bill", who passed away recently. Originally from Bottega di Vallefoglia, Renzo was a great enthusiast, a deep connoisseur and expert of cycling, who dedicated his life to celebrating and recounting the legendary feats of two wheels, from the era of heroic cycling to modern challenges.
Bill was not just a simple enthusiast, but a true guardian of cycling memory. His stories, always rich in details and passion, inspired generations of cyclists and fans. He was a beloved and respected figure both locally and nationally, a point of reference for anyone who shared his love for cycling. Among the symbolic places of his presence was the bar of Vinicio and Massimo Olivieri, where he often entertained enthusiasts with stories full of anecdotes and extraordinary details, leaving anyone who listened fascinated.
"Bill" was also a person of great education and humanity, qualities that made him loved by everyone. His passion, combined with an extraordinary historical memory, left an indelible mark on the heart of anyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
The editorial staff of tuttoBICI and tuttobiciweb also joins the condolences of the cycling world.
