ITALIAN YOUTH CYCLOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP, THE ADVENTURE OF FOLLONICA 2025 BEGINS

Follonica, in the province of Grosseto, will host the national event that ASD Romano Scotti will organize, under the aegis of the Italian Cycling Federation, from January 3 to 5, 2025. The Official Logo of the Italian Youth Championship Follonica 2025 Already tested in various editions of cyclocross stage races by ASD Romano Scotti, the Follonica territory is ready to host the highlight of the cyclocross season, towards which all the objectives of a long season started in September are aimed. The race will take place in what until a few years ago was one of the most famous city racecourses in Tuscany and which today hosts a picturesque urban park dedicated to sports and shows. In a true arena, which transforms for three days into a natural cyclocross stadium, young novice and junior athletes, both boys and girls, will compete for the highly coveted white-red-green jerseys to wear throughout 2025. The Logo and Official Website The logo for Follonica 2025 has been officially unveiled, designed by Adriano Nepa exclusively for ASD Romano Scotti: a blue bicycle marked with the tricolor, with wheels reminiscent of gears - in memory of the glorious ironworks - while the name of the Maremma town shines with the sun and waves of the Tyrrhenian Sea, underlining its current tourist vocation. A link, therefore, between Follonica's past, present, and future, another turn of the wheel towards the tricolor with the grit that only cyclocross can provide. The official website has also been launched: https://www.ciclocrossroma.it/campita-follonica-2025/ A special facility, the Arena Spettacoli, offers all necessary services, including a wide area for teams, to fully experience the challenging days of the national championship, on a technically and altimetrically complex track that will put athletes to the test not only in traditional races but also for the assignment of the "Team Relay" title, scheduled for Saturday, January 4, with participation reserved for regional representatives. On Sunday, 5th, the races that will assign individual titles, while the entire day of Friday, 3rd, will be dedicated to preparatory and secretarial activities. "It is an honor to return to organizing the Italian Championship, the most important event in the cyclocross calendar, the most coveted race by young athletes. And the honor is even greater because we will organize it for the first time outside our Rome, in the Maremma town of Follonica, which has embraced the idea for several months; and therefore it is an honor loaded with great responsibility" - explains Fausto Scotti, president of ASD Romano Scotti, the organizing society of the 2025 national event - "In this arena, once a racecourse, in full continuity with our previous national experiences in Rome Capannelle, the young athletes will showcase their technique, strength, and tenacity.
