Marlen Reusser, currently third in the general classification of the 2026 Tour de France, crashed on the descent of Col d'Èze. The Swiss rider had been dropped from the main contenders' group during the climb and, apparently in an attempt to make up ground, slipped off the road.
Remaining conscious on the ground for several minutes, the former yellow jersey wearer resumed racing escorted by her teammates. Currently, her gap to Vollering and Longo Borghini is significant and it appears that the Movistar team leader is struggling to find her rhythm back on the bike.
