The Australian National Championships concluded with Patrick Eddy's victory in the elite men's race. Born in Echuca, Victoria, twenty-three years ago, the new 2026 Australian champion represents the Team Brennan after having raced for several seasons with Team Picnic PostNL.
Eddy celebrated his first career success by beating Luke Plapp from Team Jayco AlUla in a two-man sprint, while Oscar Chamberlain, a twenty-year-old from Decathlon CMA CGM, finished in third place, crossing the finish line in Perth 9" after the winner over the 176 kilometers race.
